This deep dive session will address challenges faced by cyber security SMEs – generating sales leads and access cyber security decision makers.

As part of the Cyber 101 programme Digital Catapult is pleased to announce the first of our Cyber 101 Deep Dive sessions: Access to Clients.

Why get involved?

Addressing the needs of previous Cyber 101 cohorts, the Deep Dive will be tackling the challenges faced by growing SMEs in generating sales leads and accessing cyber security decision makers through a combination of workshops, roundtable discussions with industry experts and peer-to-peer learning.

Who should apply?

We are interested in hearing from cyber security companies operating across all UK sectors with existing product or service offerings who are looking to scale-up and grow their client base.

Graduates of the Cyber 101: Business Skills Bootcamps are automatically accepted to the Deep Dive and places are allocated to them on a first come first served basis.

A number of places however are reserved for SMEs new to the Cyber 101 programme. Please apply before 13th November using the below form.

Cyber 101 is a national programme running from January 2017 – March 2021 as part of DCMS funded activity to grow the UK’s cyber security sector and the capability of cyber security SMEs. This programme is linked to the Develop strand of UK Government’s National Cyber Security Strategy, a series of activities that will be supported by £1.9bn public investment over the next five years.

Successful applicants will be invited to a brief telephone interview to judge suitability. Please be advised that experts from the Cyber 101 team will assess applications using 3 criteria:

  • fit to Cyber 101 requirements
  • domain expertise
  • maturity

Assessment is based on application content only.

The Deep Dive can accommodate 12 SMEs maximum and will take place in the Digital Catapult Centre in London.
