The Landing houses over 120 companies across a broad spectrum of digital technology markets – from mobile developers to animators, health technology to gaming, broadcast production to FinTech, cloud-based service providers to social media consultants.
The Landing is also a major convener for digital innovation hosting over 13,000 people a year through its conferences, business lounge, seminars, workshops, thought leadership events and projects.
Spanning over 53,000 sq ft across seven floors, The Landing has embedded lab environments, UX facilities and post-production across its managed and shared workspaces. This enables startups, early stage companies and investors to test product viability and simulate user environments for applications such as IoT and other smart technologies.
The Landing is also a central linking point to the talent development framework across the MediaCityUK campus functioning as the natural conduit for academics and researchers to interact with industry.
The Landing combines the ingredients for a successful technology eco-system and has contributed already £50.7m GVA to the UK connected digital economy, making it a key asset and a significant location to support the growth of technology innovation in the north.
